Uhhh! Just can't eat it, can hardly take the smell! Need tips/help.

haha I love that part about laundry. It's very complicated around here, so I only help hang and fold. That can actually get complicated too. To the OP. I have only experienced not being hungry when I snacked too much waiting for the food to finish. The smell has never turned me off. I just...

Does the new lid with bolted handle leak from mounting holes ?

I have a 26er with the bolt on handle and there are no leaks at all. It comes with a plastic wrench to tighten the bolts down and will NOT allow you to over tighten. Kinda like a torque wrench. If someone were to ignore the tool it came with, then maybe it would have issues. That would be their...

    Considering switching to Master Touch

Welcome to the forum. Another nice thing about the master touch is it sits up higher. So if you're a taller person you will feel more conformable cooking on it.

Speaking of Charcoal Sales - What's better: KBB or KBB Competition and why?

I use both and buy both on sale. I prefer the comp in the Smokey Joe and Jumbo Joe. Comp starts faster too. Hard to beat KBB bang for the buck. Ash has never been a problem in the kettle or WSM. Although, I'll use comp in the WSM for cooking chicken or turkey (higher temps). Can't say one is...

What do you wish you knew for your first smoke?

For me it was don't use the same amount of salt on enhanced meat or it will be too salty. Now I try to avoid enhanced meat and pay more attention to what I'm buying. As for smoking with the WSM and Kettle I was lucky to read post on here first. The advice I read was spot on.

Great way to use leftovers and still fire up the Weber. The 505 has some kick to it.

    WSM or Kettle

Great deal you found there. Lots of good advise on how to prepare and cook on here. Beer can chicken is better without the can, but still cooks great vertically.
