Hi, Neighbor. Looks good. Nice smoke ring. I feel it's easy to over smoke with hickory, but that's just my opinion. I did some ribs Sat and pulled them a little too early b/c everyone was hungry. It happens sometimes. Even when you tell everyone they are done when they are done!

I received my sample bag on May 20th and used them to cook some hamburgers that day. Worked well for me. They are a lot bigger compared to other briquettes. Smelled good while lighting. I would love to try them in the WSM or snake method in the kettle. Just wish they were not $1 per pound.

I just put a Keter Unity XL BBQ Storage Table next to my 26 and love it. Store all my wood and extras in there. Building a table would be fun though.

Confirmed Lowes in Arlington, TX had Stubbs on sale for $6.99 today only. Picked up 3 bags. Lowes seems to put the Stubbs on sale right before KBB. My Costco doesn't have Kcomp on sale yet.

Not only does reusing save you money, but you will need to light less to get going again. For me that speeds up the process. Just dump new lit on old.

The 26er is well worth the retail price. I have seen a few pop up used on CL. Space is an issue for me, so I sold the 22 and bought a 26 at Ace. Instead of buying a 2nd 22. Ace will put it together for you for free, but I'm a man so I said no thanks. Plus is it super easy to assemble.

Turkey in the WSM @ 350 and Cornish hens on the 26 @450. The WSM has yet to let me down for Thanksgiving turkey.

Great cook! I have had good results with the snake method in the 26. I use a small SS bawl I put hot water in to help steady the temps, but this may not be needed.

Any guesses on what they will call it? Just don't do away with my Kcomp!!
