Well I'm going to do a new thing for me. Well kind of new. I've already done turkey on the kettle. But I ordered the rotisserie ring for my kettle and I'm going to attempt to do Thanksgiving turkey with it. Wish me luck everyone. I don't want to be the reason the 🦃 bird is not good. Last weekend...

Sorry for my absence recently. Being busy makes you tired. It's day four and I've worked 50 hours. Going to work tomorrow for day 5. And on day 5 they're going to ask me if I can come in for day 6. Along with everything else that has been going on I don't know when I have time to have time.

    Right to repair

Yeah, well said. I'm not as eloquent as many other posters. I post my thoughts randomly and hope my point gets across. But I think you said what I was also saying 🤣🤟😎

    Right to repair

Okay. I think I understand now. So I think we're on a same page. The aftermarket is good. On the right to repair act this is also Good. Just think of how many of the old Weber Genesis barbecues would not be repairable if it wasn't for aftermarket now. Weber stops supporting a lot of their parks...

I listen to him quite a bit also. His specially is automotive mostly. But it's very interesting to hear a lawyer's take on various subjects. And I usually like the take that he gives. He does deviate from his typical stuff from time to time. This time it just happened to be relevant to Weber.

    Right to repair

I'm not sure I understand where you're going with that. Since it's all made in China anyways why not be able to go to your local whatever store and buy a glow plug instead of having to wait for Weber to send you one. The right to repair has become kind of a big deal in automotive and tractor...

    Right to repair

I'm not sure if this has been covered yet. But I saw an article on it a few days ago and then I came across this. I figured I would share it. It might be of interest to some of us.

    This happened today

To be honest that was the first time I'd ever thought about it also. But it was very good and I will be doing it again. The thing is I had a lot of corn that I had already barbecued leftover, and corn that was still uncooked. So I was experimenting. The corn on the left wrapped and unwrapped or...

    This happened today

I know I haven't been around much lately. Things are all upside down for me still. But I'm still cooking and still checking in here when I can. That being said I thought I would share this. Ribs and corn. It was delicious. Sorry no after cook shots. People were hungry.

    SmokeFire makes us proud!

I was thinking that also. But when they opened all the smokers earlier in the video they were taking notes of how the ribs looked. So I don't think it was a completely blind taste test simply because the smoke fire already had a different look to the ribs than the rest of them.

    Sale at Lowe’s Home Store

In 2020 my Lowe's had the smoke fire. For 2021 the smoke fire was absent. I think many Lowe's locations are just deciding not to carry it.
