Saw this Genesis at Costco today

I assembled my S 345 yesterday and wanted to update this thread as to what's separates the S 335 and Costco's version, the S 345. With Costco you will get the grill cover, SS 7mm grates, lighted control knobs, and 6 food probes for the iGrill3. All for $999.00 which is $50.00 cheaper than most...

Looking at a new Genesis II 335

That's a really good idea. I've noticed the bluetooth feature for my the 3 is only good to about 25 or so feet and once I go inside, lose connection. It's basically worthless unless I'm outside and near the grill.

First Time Gas User- Sear Burner Question

Just purchased my first gas grill and have the Costco version of the S 335. 3 burners with a sear station. If I am using the sear burner, do I turn it off after searing is finished yet food is not finished cooking? The sear burner is situated between burner 2 and 3. Thank you.

Looking at a new Genesis II 335

I put the grill together today and found they included 6 probes for the iGrill but no grate thermometer. I wish they would have included 4 probes and a grate thermo instead...6 seems like overkill and I had to buy the grate thermo.

Looking at a new Genesis II 335

I called Weber and asked about exchanging my new/unused SS7's for the 9's and was told they couldn't do it. I also reached out on Twitter but no response. I will ride with the 7's I guess....

Looking at a new Genesis II 335

After unboxing I have learned the Costco version has the additional cover, 7mm SS grates, 4 probe iGrill3, and as you stated the lighted knobs. Excellent value for one in the market.

Saw this Genesis at Costco today

I just started unboxing my Costco 345 and was surprised to find this, SS albeit in 7mm. I simply wanted the SS and was going to upgrade so i'm quite excited about this.

Looking at a new Genesis II 335

I just bought the Costco version that is marketed as the 345 which I believe is simply an added cover. I'll be calling Weber tomorrow to inquire on the SS grates as well. I have a WSM and have always had a great experience with their customer service, hoping for the same this time.

Saw this Genesis at Costco today

My local Coscto had two so I bought one but haven't decided if I will keep it. I would like to have a four burner with rotisserie which this model does not have. It's an additional $90.00 from Weber. I'm a long time kettle user and the wife has been bugging me for years to get gas for the...

RIP Konrad Haskins, Teddy Bear's BBQ, BBQ Institute Ozark

I realize this is a couple years old but just found out via this post that Konrad passed. I took Konrad's BBQ class in 2010 at his BBQ Restaurant in Duvall Wa. It was a small and intimate class and Konrad did all his demonstrations on a Weber Ranch Kettle and he was truly gifted on the grill...
