    Sysco distributes an all hardwood briquet made by RO called Chef Select..its only sold through food distributors and mainly to up scale restaurants..it is in my opinion superior to the rancher briquet that was sold last summer

    As you probably know briquettes contain starch and lime..just starch in the case of rancher..this constitutes the majority of ash..use lump which has virtually no ash

    Well you have to understand that Rancher was a one time deal..it was surplus a south american company had stockpiled and could not get rid of..there probably will not be another deal like that one
