    Made some ham steaks and some carrots out of the weber cookbook. (thanks Jamie!) Everything came out really good. I am liking the cast iron marks on the food. The grill worked great. Just have to remember to turn it on real slowly.

    Performer Clean Up

    Larry - You can search this forums, but from what I remember people used simple green for the outside. For the inside, I would build a big charcoal fire and let the grill get nice and hot. This should clean/kill any bad things inside your grill. good luck!

    Phil = I am off tomorrow (ie thursday) I will clean the tube and lite as follows. As I remember the flame was blue, but just low. I will keep all posted. maybe I turned it on to quickly? I think I am cooking ham tomorrow, from the weber cookbook. Hopefully, pictures will follow.

    Thanks George - I think it will be fine for a lot of meals, and also as a side grill for my performer. (Just ask Phil) For example, I love corn on the cob on the grill. The Q would be great for this. Or a quick meal during the week, etc, etc, etc.
