    Help with Gas Grill

See if you can find a local LPG/Gas repair/expert. Plenty of gas appliances would be imported to Thailand, and conversion, if Thailand uses a weird gas mix, should be a common problem. Possibly a simple fix as swapping orifices?

    I am restoring this Genesis 5 ....

I have two 5000 greens. One was my first full restore. It is my go to grill. The other is a parts backup. If it means something to you to have a top of the line Weber grill of the day, keep it. If not, let it go. Let someone else enjoy it. A 13 bar 1000 cooks exactly the same.

hi all where can i find the serial # on a 5000

The Flame Check valves/thermocouple on the 5000 tend to fail over time, and as far as I am aware replacments are not available. So to keep the flames happening, you can sit half a brick on top of the Flame check button to keep it down and the gas flowing (not a particularly attractive look) or...

WTB: LPG Manifold for Summit 650

Very true. The First generation Summit 650 and the Third generation Summit S-670/E-670 are very different. But there is not a lot of difference between a Third generation S-670/E-670 Summit and a Third generation S-650/E-650 Summit other than the S-670/E-670 having the Sear Station burner and...

    Summit Gold on the curb!!

Series one Summit photos. (The model prior to yours Gord) External, you can see how the heat stresses the black enamel From inside the firebox where the burners pass through. No visible rot. No SS panel. Maybe the gunk from the previous owner protected it?? Thank you Gord for making me...

    Summit Gold on the curb!!

Hi Gord, thank you for the pictures. Please accept my apologies for misleading you. I am restoring a Summit from the series before (Series One if you like) and it has the tubes passing through the black steel where rot problems can occur. Your Summit is the following model (Series Two, if...
