    need some help!!!

    i started my fire this morning at 7 to cook a small shoulder and a rack of ribs... the temp got to 250 within about 30 -45 mins from starting then drastically has fallen off, i can not get it over 200-215 and maintain for any length of time.... it is about 25 degrees outside now, 10 mph wind...

    it will be 10 degrees or so here in alabama tomorrow when i get up and i will be firing up my smoker!!!! have a small bone in butt and a small rack of ribs.... first time trying 2 different things on the smoker.....
