    For spam lover

Lynn Dollar, great insight into POWs in Europe during WWII. The Greatest Generation sacrificed so much. My grandfather was a Marine Raider in the Pacific Campaign and my father told me my grandfather didn't talk much about his experiences. My father did relate one conversation he overheard...

    Carne Asada Tacos

Rich, those tacos look pretty awesome and I am salivating imagining eating them! I'm glad you and Barb can have a little respite from your situation. I wish you two the best.

    Side Skewer Rotisserie

Hi, George. I think there's a lot of foods, meat and veggies, that are great for rotisserie other that chicken. I've done mixed veggies, chicken wings, a stuffed pork loin (butterflied and filled with a "stuffing," of sorts), bone-in pork loin roasts, beef rib roasts, and stuffed flank steak...

Go Anywhere Rotisserie Stacker Cooks (BBQ Lumpia and Spinning Wings)

For those interested in a Go Anywhere stacker, there is a U.S. version on sale through Amazon by Onlyfire. Here's the link (TVWB Amazon-linked): https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B07JF98DLP/tvwb-20 I don't own this stacker and I'm not endorsing it. It looks slightly different that my...

Spinning a Yard Bird on the E320 and some Canadian Bacon.

Looks great, Rich! Roti chicken with gravy, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob, too. I might need to bust out the rotisserie soon...very soon. :D

    Coney Island Dogs and Slaw

This is why I could perpetually live in a "tailgate" status - chili, dogs, slaw and other yummy toppings! Not to mention all the other tailgate mainstays!

    Sunday yard bird

That yard bird looks yummy as heck. How was the lemon juice/chicken broth, lemon pepper rub, and smoky barbecue sauce combo? Looked delicious!

Weber Go Anywhere Pork Butt and Chuck Roast Cooks

MikeLucky, no problem - I'll gladly take the blame. ;) I do have both gas and charcoal Go Anywhere grills. The gas version I picked up on clearance at Wally's (around August) for $25 a few years ago! Versatile compact cookers.

Go Anywhere Rotisserie Stacker Cooks (BBQ Lumpia and Spinning Wings)

Kevin L, yup - every family has their own version of the "traditional" lumpia, traditional being ground pork, ground beef, and a fresh (not fried) vegetable lumpia. Carrots, peas, water chestnuts, bean sprouts, and onions are what I put into my beef lumpia. I've even had lumpia with raisins...

Weber Go Anywhere Pork Butt and Chuck Roast Cooks

Kevin L, my Weber Go Anywhere is a 1993 model (P) and aside from the handles (glass-reinforced nylon handles on the current Go Anywhere versus wood on the older models), the design elements (bottom/top vents and charcoal/grill grates) are the same for both the new and old models.

    Rotisserie WITHOUT infrared?

Jan Smith, wait, you are saying that there are only three types of heat transfer: conduction, radiation, and convection. And that I was right in my response in the sense of "free convection?" Thank you for the insight. I'm not as dumb as I thought! :wsm: So, the assumption is that most Weber...

Go Anywhere Rotisserie Stacker Cooks (BBQ Lumpia and Spinning Wings)

Thanks JeffG, Barb D,and Kevin L. I'm working out a slaw that would be compatible with the BBQ lumpia and survive the frying process. Maybe a jicama or Asian-style slaw to make it less of a meat-fest? (No mayo.) Don't get me wrong, the pulled pork-only lumpia are pretty awesome with the No. 5 sauce.

Weber Go Anywhere Pork Butt and Chuck Roast Cooks

Thanks Rich G and all for the positive comments. I did not come up with this setup on my own. A guy with the username Phubar, from the Netherlands, on another BBQ forum inspired me with his Go Anywhere cooks. Actually, there were a few forum posts a few years ago where him and his friends and...

    My First Rotisserie

I would keep both. The E330 looks like a great grill and I love older Weber grills in great condition. The gas burner setups are different, which means much more fun experimenting. The "official" justification for holding on to both grills is for entertaining capacity. You never know when you...

    Q rotisserie

I have the Weber (Q100/1000) version that I bought in Germany. I thought this aftermarket one was kind of expensive, then I looked at my Amazon.de account and realized I bought the Weber one for for over 130 euro! The Weber Q100 is my only gas grill (wait, I have the WGA gas, too) and I really...
