Tennessee > Memphis: Cozy Corner BBQ

Good call on the Aquarium Smoker. They have very tender spare ribs. They might be the best spare ribs I have ever had at a bbq joint. I really love this place. Cozy Corner is the first place that comes to mind when I think of Memphis BBQ. Even if it doesn't blow you away... It is a great...

Tennessee > Memphis: Rum Boogie Cafe

Their food is really good. Great lunch specials. I had one of the best racks of ribs I have ever tasted at this place. It had a sweet glaze and some dry rub. Good fried food too. Definitely NOT a tourist trap.

    Kebabs

Woah!!!! That sounds and looks great. I've seen ground kabobs like this a few times, but have never tried it. It seems like a great way to cook different ethnic foods. I would love to try Lebanese, Greek, or even Bosnian flavors this way. Well done. I'm jealous.

My hit or miss rib eye steak selection

Bob, I think we shop at the same costco. I rarely buy ribeyes for the same reasons. If you want to fall in love all over again... Reverse sear a nice ribeye roast, and slice away. For steaks, those choice sirloins are tough to beat. Sorry no tips on early detection of sinew.

    "Loin Sirloin Flap"...& grilled fries

    Need Help Grilling Vegetables

I always find you can cook veggies over a hotter fire than you would first think. You also don't need to flip as often as you would think. I like the wok basket. Skewers are cool too. Sometimes I put veggies in a bag with a little Italian dressing....then Tony C's. I think you are right...
