    4butts???

I'd put the bigger ones on the top. It's hotter on the top grate than the bottom. I did this very same cook a few weeks ago. I think it took me around 17 hours. You should be ok time wise. MikeZ

Clay, Just be in the car at 7:00 AM tomorrow! Bring along a present for a woman who turns 80. Brian, everything turned out great. I pulled (3) and chopped (1) butt. I ate as I went. Never tried injecting a butt, maybe next time. MikeZ

    Four Butts

Cook update: Just took the 4 butts off. All at 195 or slightly higher. The cook took about 17 hours. I had to add some more lump at around 5:00 AM. I must not have had the ring as full as I usually do? Wrapped them in HD foil and they are now sitting in the "BBQ Cooler" for a (1) hour rest. I...

How do I get and stay low?

Do a search on this! I've read something before on it. I think they started with fewer lit coals using the MM. I think the trick is to start out low and stay there rather then trying to bring the temps down. MIkeZ

What kind of Lump are you using?

I use Humphrey Lump. My brother in law brings me it from Pennsylvania for free! You can't beat that!! Although I have to feed him. It seems to burn long and has very little ash. There's also not too many real small pieces. MikeZ

    Spray Bottle?

Where can I find a good spray bottle? I'm looking for one that will come apart easily for cleaning, has a filter, and is not too tall, so it will fit in the refrigerator easily. I'm tired of the cheap spray bottles I've bought in the past that stop working after using them a few times. MikeZ
