Old Westerner 26er...with Rotis Ring *****

I have been waiting for one of these for a long time and am going all out for it. I especially like that it has the old roti ring. Weber should start making them for the 26'rs again. In it's very good condition I think it will break $1200.

    John Wayne Charcoal

I saw it in SoCal and it sounded really good. I remember it came in a few different flavors and one was something like an oak and hickory mix. They also sold some smoking chips. I would love to give it a try, but it was really pricey.

    Kofta Kebob style...

This is turning into quite the little reunion! What more can be said that hasn't been? They look fantastic and are a guaranteed must try now, but I will need to know a little more about the sauce first. Where's Don Cash been?

    More Grilled Chicken Mole

I just couldn't get John's chicken mole out of my mind, but was still too sick from a cold virus to eat anything but caldo de pollo. Well today finally came and I was feeling just good enough to go for it. I can't say it was a good as John's but until I get to visit him for a throwdown at his...

    Wasting Charcoal

I can help Craig here since he may not be watching. That ring is for raising the grate up further from the coals like the newer models are. It gives about four more inches of space above the basket otherwise the grate would sit almost right on top of it. It's also nice having that extra space...
