    I have a propane smoker. When I smoke fish I don't use water. Never had any trouble with a fishy after taste or smell. Just a thought. I use a Great Outdoors Smokey Mountain Series Big Block.

    First turkey cook, so-so

    When Bining a turkey keep a few ounces of brine seperate. Then just before your ready to smoke it. Inject some of the brine into the breast or turkey itself. This may help help. Its the one thig I always do when doing turkeys or chickens whole or peices.

    I use the BRITU rub on everything. But with ribs make sure they have not been prebrined. If they have may come out little salty. So I do not add salt when I make the recipe. When buying vacumn sealed ribs read the label to make sure there not prebrined.

    Turkey Salad
