    Grill rescued from the streets.

I dont know why he does that. All of his grills are set up like that. </div></BLOCKQUOTE> probably takes the pictures like that to get a rise out of all of us Weber nerds, and then turns it the right way to use it. By the way, nice Weber rescue, Mark.

New to me 'N' 3 wheeler

Yes W, this is purely anecdotal, but I have a 99 with wood handles, and a 2000 with plastic handles. If I had to pick a tranition date, I would use 2000.

    Agave nectar on ribs?

Give it a try and report back Jeff. FWIW, and despite what people who taste them say, I have never once put Honey or Agave in my rib foil, whether for competition or home consumption.

    Brian O'Neal's Wooden Handles

I think they are pretty amazing.

    My Weber Table

Thanks for the measurements Joel. I am going to defiitely building something using this as the inspiration.

    Weber Kettle Handle?

Good point Chris. Marty's handles are works of art in their own right. Kevin should check them out as well. Brian's handles are so awesome for those wanting an original look:

    Weber Kettle Handle?

Yuuuuuppp! Email Brian. His single screw handles should work just fine. EDIT: Depends how new is new I should clarify. The kind with the silly heat shield is a totally different handle assemply and not hot swap-able.

    My Weber Table

I just found some lumber that would be perfect for making a table like this. Thanks for posting Joel. A couple questions, how wide is the table top, and how long is it (from longest point on the curve I suppose).

    I've got a handle on this .....

Spar Varnish is a marine varnish. It is used in applications requiring some UV protection, as well as water/weather protection while still remaining flexible (ie a boat spar flexing under sail load). My only concern is the heat generated by the grill, but we will see, and that would do a...

He painted his weber grill ....

Thanks Jim, I figured someone here would have seen this!

    I've got a handle on this .....

Ted, you will not regret it. Now that I have looked at the handles outside, and in sunlight, I could not be happier with the color tone. I would definitely do the same process again.

    My Weber Table

That is really nice. Yet another reason to keep wood handles!

    I've got a handle on this .....

Two actually. The handles arrived a little over a week ago, and I have not had time ot finish them. This weekend, I applied a few coats of Spar varnish (NOT Spar Urethane), sanding a few strokes with 220 grit in between. I just put the handles on the Red Master-Touch today. I might give them...

One Touch Silver or One Touch Gold?

I will basically echo the above. If I could habve only a gold or silver, I would definitely have the OTG. However, if you are waiting on a cl deal, and a good OTS comes up, I would certainly take it. As to the need for a 26, with a family of two there is no need to wait for one of those. Go...

He painted his weber grill ....

This guy painted his Weber, how do you think it turned out? Weber Painting Note: 1) I searched and did not see this posted by anyone else, but I definitely could have missed it. 2) I wanted to include the links to the pictures right in this post but since the artist probably owns them, he...

    Vintage Weber Kabob Setup

I also thing you could put a grate on top of the skewers to have either a second level or farther away for indirect. Is there enough "head space" to do this?

I don't get it, but I really like it

I believe the kingsford specific phenomenom is related to the biders burning off sooner than the char dust. Te result is a slightly harder to light piece with more charcoal resultign in more heat. It is just a crazy theory.

Old Weber Grill - Any idea?

Yes indeed. This is a photo from Jeff of his SJ woith off set top handle. I believe this is what was in the OP. EDIT TO ADD: I find this design very ellegant, and a nod to the classic webber design of a triangle bottom. I can not speak to the stability or durability having never used...

Old Weber Grill - Any idea?

I think it was an old smokey joe. If you also notice, there was a triangle shaped metal rod piece next to the grills. This piece stabilized three legs with rings on the ends. These legs screwed in to the bottom of the bowl, and there was no ash pan. You can also see that the top handle appears...
