Ok, so the plot thickens...... I flashed back to the v6 AVR firmware with the same issue and when i flached back to the 10/8 v10 firmware, the issue went away. The 10/8 was what i was running to begin with. Any ideas??????

Looks really tight in there. Have you considered using an RJ45 and putting the probe jacks at the other end with the servo/blower? Course may reduce accuracy some. Just a thought.

So you're at 22k even with the 72 probes? I wonder if the the default should be changed from 10k to 22k since the 732 probes do so much better with the 22k.

It's not the value they use, it's the value you use for your ADC.

The stair step would most likely be not using appropriate resistor values matched with your probe and leads to decreased resolution. Is this a 72/73 or 732 probe?

Sounds to me like the HM daughter board is locking up. I would think the most likely culprit would be unclean power. Either a low voltage or noise from the PS.
