    BroilMaster P3 Restore

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going to try and buy the other parts grill. The outside is practically new too, so I might just give up on the green grill and swap the base over.

    BroilMaster P3 Restore

I'll have to take a look. It appears everything for these older models is "aftermarket" anyway, so I may be able to skimp given the use case. I found another one near this one that is basically brand new but on a pedestal mount. Burner and grates aren't even patinaed. They are asking $175 but...

    BroilMaster P3 Restore

My dad pick up this P3HG-1 BroilMaster over the weekend for me. Guy was firm on $30, but condition appears good. He included some new parts, but I'm not sure if I'll need them or where they even go. He was running it as NG, but it was a factory Propane model. This is a low dollar experiment for...

    I am restoring this Genesis 5 ....

The question is what you COULD sell it for and what it is WORTH (to you and this community), especially with the apparent shortage of these grills we are seeing this year. At some point you are going to have to say "this is the last grill I'll ever own" and everything else is a flipper. It is...

    1st Gen Summit 6 Rebuild

During my Summit journey last month I had some work done by a local fabricator. Unfortunately the cost of steel has doubled in the last year, so this is not a good time to try to make a run at rebuilding those plates. For a thin piece of stainless 20 gauge cut to the same size you're looking for...

    Really ?

Even the cooking grates? I swear I've swapped grates and never had an issue. Maybe I've just always had 3 burners. The lid looks way cooler in a 3 burner. 2 burner just looks out of proportion

    Really ?

Obviously I was just kidding, but occured to me that the internet may lose the translation. That price is outrageous. Is the 2 burner the same size as a 3? I actually have never seen a 2 burner Genesis in person. I think the 2 burner Spirits I've done from that era were the same size?

Not seeing to many Genesis 1000 this Year in 2021

I was just commenting on this earlier. I've started stock piling parts as best I can, trying to build the best out of the best. I'm putting in some shelving above my garage so that I can start to collect dust on some older parts. For now I'm still trying to stick with the Gold/Platinum stuff for...

    Really ?

You fool. Everyone knows that the 3 burner model is worth 20x.

Absolutely fantastic resto so far. Love the stain on the wood. Great choice for the red top

So a gorgeous evening last night

Beautiful evening here in Charleston, SC. Light breeze and mid 70s. My wife and I threw some heirloom breed porkchops on the grill. Farrow with spinach, cheese, and olives on the side burner was fantastic.

I will just leave this here

From what I'm reading, they have been standard over the briquettes in the top-of-the-line Broilmasters for at least 10 years. To me it looks like a no brainer for $60.

I will just leave this here

Last night I slid into bed next to my wife. I looked into her eyes and said "I love you. That Napoleon Prestige Pro is beautiful" I was assigned night duty for the 2 year old for the rest of the week.

I'd like to agree with you, but IDK what a frame sitting directly on a concrete pad could do to it. I keep my grill(s) on a concrete patio and use a grill pad to minimize the acidic off gas that comes in contact with the underside of the grill. Even with that I usually have to repair my bases...

I will just leave this here

I've been following a Embers Fireplaces & Outdoor Living youtube channel which has some fantastic videos on all the new BIFL grill brands. A lot of their premium/luxury grills use the ceramic grates mounted to a SS plater. The guy recommends that people flip the plate upside down and do a...

I will just leave this here

@Joe Anshien @Jon Tofte @A Lee I'm supposed to go look at the grill in the next couple of days. He is about 20 minutes from me and I won't have a truck till this weekend. He is only a week into selling it and made a point to tell me he was in "no hurry." He has it listed on LetGo, which almost...

I will just leave this here

IF I buy all the broilmasters near me, maybe my wife will let me drive half way across the country just to get her deck back https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/423647612313456 https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/282319550034438 https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/245436927194420

Found another interesting option. Guy can't give me the model, but it appears to be a 2017 Napoleon Prestige Pro 500, which is a $2500 grill with a lifetime warranty. He claims it has an accessory that allows you to cook with charcoal right in the grilling surface, and sure enough, such does...

    Foil wrap your Flavorizer bars?

This would have been my thought too Also, let's assume you get 5-10 cooks out of them before exchanging. If you were to scrape your flavorizer bars that frequently instead, you could remove all the crud that leads to breakdown. Add up the cost of foil and time spent swapping over the years...

The most beautiful grill I’ve ever seen

I'm not an expert, but I'm getting market savvy. I think they use a zinc plated steel that they then enamel coat for their bases in the Prestige line. The Prestige Pro (top of the line) may have full Stainless bases. From what I can tell the Napoleon products are all about a half step higher...
