That's pretty accurate here, although I'd have to sub snow for rain. We've only gotten maybe 6" of snowfall this winter so far.

A lot of it is simply the sampling that's done in the analog -> digital conversion. Narrow bandwidth isn't going to give you the fidelity that you want in a good listening environment. OTOH, that'll be just fine in my truck. Personally, I really don't consider my ears to be all that good, but...

And it's been repaired as of yesterday, and back up & flying. Looks like a section of skin, a bit of rib, and a spar were replaced. And a whole lot of rivets.
