Choosing Between Slow-N-Sear or Rotisserie Attachment

Thanks for all the feedback. I think I'm going with gasser rotisserie. I think I will get more use out of it. The slow n sear will have to wait.

Choosing Between Slow-N-Sear or Rotisserie Attachment

George...What's your issue with slow -n-sear? I sometimes look at it and think its amazing. Then think, I can accomplish the same thing with a snake method. I'm leaning to the rotisserie.

Choosing Between Slow-N-Sear or Rotisserie Attachment

Hey everyone. If you were on a limited budget and could choose only one, would you go with Slow-N-Sear for the Kettle or the Rotisserie Attachment For the Weber Genesis? I know its not necessarily an "apples to apples" comparison, but I always get great points of view from the forum. Thanks...

    Alabama's BBQ Legends

I think Gary is on to something. Chris should start a BBQ pilrgramage thread and everyone can add their reviews and pics. Minimum 2 places per day! My first was to KC. Hit 6 in three days (USA soccer game mixed in too!). Alabama is higher on my list because of that video If Chris starts the...

    No One Likes A Braggard

I keep the Craig List alerts going because you never know what's out there. This deal came about after the seller wouldn't go lower than 100. So i told him "thanks but no thanks." But he made the mistake of telling me he was moving so I rolled the dice and figured I would text late Saturday to...

Weber summit vs big green egg

Mark - I do not hot have the Big Summit and after the initial love fest with my BGE, I am back on a more regular basis to my Webers. I just find my Webers a bit easier to use, easier to clean and I'm not messing around with heat deflectors or ceramic shield. I will say the Webers don't get as...

    GrillGrates on Gassers

I've been going through the same dilemma as I need to replace my CI grates on my Weber Genesis Silver C. Been bouncing back and forth between GG and SS. Now I think I more confused then ever. Since I use the gasser mostly for M-Th cooking, I probably want speed and ease of clean up. Sounds like...

    Rotisserie Question

Depends on what temp and how crispy you want that skin! I generally do two baskets from a 3/4 full chimney and lay a chunk of wood on top of one.
