    Backyard Grill Charcoal

Thanks for the tip and review. Always been a KBB kind of guy, but may give some other options a go this season. I believe I've seen this stuff in my local wally.

    Ahhh.... Days Gone By

Great story Jak! I'm probably in the younger crowd here, early 30's so my history isn't very dated. Grew up around gassers, but loved when we went to state parks as a family when I was younger because they had the pedestal grills and I got hooked on the charcoal taste. I still have my very...

Had not heard of this roadside chicken until I joined this site recently. I'll have to give that a go soon.

    Your BEST butt BARK?

I hope to contribute more this weekend to this thread. One thing I don't see mentioned here about the bark is what's being used for the rub. Do you guys feel this contributes, and how much? My guess is yes, and I tend to use a lot of sugar in my butt rubs. I'll be sure to reply back with...

    Looking for a Kingsford sale

What's I've seen the past 2 years is this: Right close to now, in the next 30 days HD will have a sale, (2) of the 20 lb bags, wrapped together for $10. last year I left with a whooping 160 lb's of charcoal! I wait for it, and when it happens again, I'll be sure to make a post on here. IIRC...

found my grandson an '04 black OTP

I love seeing all of the generations of cooking on this forum. I've been slowly teaching my 10 year old how it's done. Keep up the good work Bob!

    CL shopping advice needed please

Now that I have a OTS and OTG, definitely spring for the OTG. That being said, you already have a smoker, so unless you cook frequently for a lot of folks, a 22 OTG may work, otherwise if you see a 26 OTG out there, pick it up!
