    Thanks, They seem to be holding up pretty good. I did a 12 hour smoke on Sunday and they seem almost uneffected. Just to update my first post, the size of the rings are 2 1/4 inch outer diameter.

    Lump Convert

    Can lump be used for long smoking sessions or do you have to add more after a certain amount of time? (briskets, pork shoulders) Is it true that temperature control is easier to maintain with lump?

    Q-a-holic

    I ditched cigarettes 2 years and now im addicted to smoking again. Meat that is. Im an addict. I cant go 1 day without checking the TVWB web page and looking up recipes. Well at least its a healthier form of smoking than I used to do. "Its the wood that makes it good."
