SS grates racked in shipping (fixed)

Usually like your post but have to disagree with your generalization that it is a common problem for Letter Carriers to steal items. I retired from the USPS after 30 years as a Letter Carrier and while there are bad apples in every occupation it was my experience that theft by employees was not...

    Outdoor Table/Cabinet recommendations?

I have one I purchased from Sam's Wholesale Club for $149.00 last year. Works good for prep and storage. Items inside stay dry and mice and chipmunks have not been able to get in. Mine is on uncovered patio and has not discolored in the heat and humidity of a Alabama summer. I agree with the...

    Silicone probe access

Not as high tech as you guys but I use one of these and push through the silicone side opening. Of course I can't monitor from a distance but does let me know air temp closer to the lower grate.

Not a Weber Pellet Grill but looking for advice

Thanks for the advice, I will always have my Weber Performer, WSM and gasser but my wife has gotten tired of hearing me talk about pellet grills and said go ahead and get one. Still deciding but appreciate all the feedback.

Not a Weber Pellet Grill but looking for advice

OK, looking for advice. Watching QVC and they have this model Traeger Ridgeland 572 sq. in Wood Fired Grill & Smoker on sale for $549 with free shipping. Includes cover and a couple bags of pellets. Long time Weber guy but looking to stay in the $500-$600 range to get started in the pellet...

Ruth’s Chris Steak House get $20MILLION in small-business aid.

I think the article said that somehow the large chains got the language changed to "no more than 500 employees at one location"

CharQing while being "safer at home!"

Jon, sounds like you have the same issue that I have at my house. My wife prefers her meals on the gasser, does not care for the charcoal, smokey flavor that I like. We tend to comprise but that is why I am interested in a pellet grill. Some say that they don't give enough smoke flavor and I...

    Genesis Gasser at Costco

Thanks Bill, I have used my WSM 18 and 22 for years. For me they are almost "set it and forget it". I use my Performer for most everything else and just have the older Summit for quick weekday meals. I got caught up in the Weber Pellet Gill mania and then started thinking about replacing the...

    Genesis Gasser at Costco

Costco has the Weber Genesis ll S-345, 3 Burner on sell for $1,000 in store. Any thoughts on this model. I have a 22” and 18” WSM, Performer and a older Summit looking to replace. Debating between a nice gasser or the new pellet grill. I am happy with my WSM’s and not sure I really need a pellet...

    Keeping my SmokeFire!

So what is the word on the Smokefire out in the rain? How long before the rain starts to cause problems with the electronics? I was under the impression that pellet grills needed to be covered during rain.

New Weber pellet grills for 2020

Stopped by Lowe's this evening and they had a couple of Smokefire's on display. If I did not know about all the problems folks were having with them I probably would have loaded one up. Very impressed with the quality, finish and how sturdy the lid felt, just disappointed about how they are...

New Weber pellet grills for 2020

As a old guy who has used Weber gas grills, charcoal grills and smokers for years, I cannot wrap my mind around seeing a photo of a new $1,000 plus grill sitting in the snow that has to be plugged in to work. Not bashing anyone and I am interested in pellet grills but I just don't know if I can...
