    What's your favorite pickled vegetable?

I like pickled beets; they go really well with pickled eggs. One of my favorite things are pickled carrots with jalapenos and onions. Most of the Mexican restaurants and take out places here carry them as condiments.

Congrats Scott! Beautiful grill. Don't get rid of the 22.5 ots; you can repair the handle and keep her in the family.

    Cracked Stone Sheet on Grill

Sorry to hear about that Gene. That was a really nicely seasoned stone and a loss for sure. Maybe it'll be covered by warranty. I think it cracked due to the moisture in the steaks. I had one break like that using some very wet dough and I'd used that stone for a good ten years. But I'm...

Awesome cook and time for you and the family Bill!! Congrats to the the family too. I have been to Greve and to Falorni twice; fantastic little Tuscan village. We're headed back to Tuscany in a few weeks - please share with me the name of the restaurant there that you enjoyed and I'll try to...

Beer can chicken, #3, belli... bellissimi but the skin !

Hi Enrico; great pictures and the chicken looks great.... except I get it about the skin. You need some high heat to crisp that up. I've not cooked BCC on the WSM; only do it on the kettle and that works pretty darn well.

    Tri Tip

The TT looks great John! Still lots of pink at 135. I really like your SMG; our local Costco has them now - the really basic model at $290. Haven't bought one yet, but as you know they are great at cooking. The bread bowl looks delicious too. Enjoy!

Thanks Bob, Great looking steaks and excellent review of the Walmart FM. I'll definitely give this a try just for fun. BTW; the color looks fine to me - I like my steaks rare to medium rare. Salad looks wonderful too - what kind of dressing did you use?
