    WSM weber work table

Understand Chuck. In my original post on this thread, I referred to earlier threads I found on my searches and I just wanted to confirm that it indeed worked well and was very easy. Thanks for the idea. Kg

Stoker on WSM: thoughts on leaving other 2 vents cracked open?

Thanks DJensen. I have only used it twice now and it does work well with just the fan, so I will leave it do its thing. Pat: Thanks for that info. I may try that when I do a chicken or turkey at 325-350. Thanks again all. Kg

    WSM weber work table

Jonas, Here is a pic of the clip after I bent the vertical piece pointing down. In the pic it is now pointing straight down. The way it comes in the box it is angled out away from the rest of the bracket about 15-20 degrees. I just used pliers to pinch it straight down. Hopefully that makes...

Stoker on WSM: thoughts on leaving other 2 vents cracked open?

Thanks Rob. I did not consider that. I will just leave it the way it is meant to work. Thanks again. Kg

Stoker on WSM: thoughts on leaving other 2 vents cracked open?

Thanks Larry. For clarification, I agree that the fan does not need any help maintaining temperature and when it does come on the air will probably blow out the other vents. I just thought that with the other vents cracked it would help minimize the number of times the fan would need to cycle...

Stoker on WSM: thoughts on leaving other 2 vents cracked open?

As I mentioned in a previous thread, I used my Stoker with my WSM for the first time last weekend and it was great! Been thinking a lot this week about what I would do differently for my upcoming smoke tonight (full packer brisket) and had a question. Does anyone leave the other 2 bottom vents...

    WSM weber work table

Jonas, I like that last table as well. Wish I would have known about that one. Thanks for the pics, that is the first time I have seen the pic of the 7413 model. I do not have that one as my feet are different. The 7412 works great, so don't be afraid to purchase that one if that is all...

Customer response times from Rocks, well they rock.

I have had great customer service as well when I emailed about my long bootup times. I sent an email and then expected to try repeated calling based on previous posts, but Kenny replied with a spot on fix within an hour IIRC. I was stoked to say the least at the customer service. Kg

    WSM weber work table

Hello all, I just wanted to post a quick thread on adding the Weber Work Table (model 7412 or 7413) to the WSM. I saw a thread on here about someone who did it, so I thought I give it a try. It is extremely easy to do and just wanted to confirm it works really well with the WSM. I will try...

Thank you John at Rock's BBQ and Amir for StokerLog !!!

Hello all, I just did my first smoke using the Stoker and StokerLog, and I must say it surpassed my most hopeful expectations. The stoker did just a great job holding temps that I have never been that relaxed doing a long smoke. Boy I can't wait to smoke again and this is why I invested in...

    Stokerlog / Computers

For using the search or Find tab, I have found it best to the use the "Advanced Search"....click on the Find tab, then click on Advanced Search. Use this to search for specific phrases or just words. Also, you can tailor the search to just search certain forums, specific members, etc. But...

New to Stoker....some questions.....long boot up time?

PROBLEM RESOLVED! THANK YOU KENNY AT ROCK'S!!! I emailed John and Kenny at Rock's responded this morning telling me to reset the database and if that did not work to send the unit back and they will replace. I reset the database when I got home and the boot up delay went away. Now takes...

New to Stoker....some questions.....long boot up time?

Yankee Rob, I have a couple of questions concerning how you setup your smoker for comps if you don't mind. (I am not into competitions, but like to take my personal hobby here to the next level ) Can you email me at keith1991@verizon.net (in my profile as well) or let me know the best way to...

New to Stoker....some questions.....long boot up time?

Thank you all for the info. I have sent John an email, but I will call him as well. Rob: thanks for your videos. They are great. On the logic, yes it seems the blower can only be assigned to one temp probe. I did exactly like you said (before I even posted) and this is how I came to...

New to Stoker....some questions.....long boot up time?

Hello all, I have had a WSM for about 4 years now, but only received my Stoker last month. I have been a lurker on TVWB for some time and have found the site just awesome. I have been playing with the Stoker inside getting to know it and I have some questions: --Does it usually take 5+...
