I've owned a french press for 22+ years... I use one every day at work because you can't have a personal coffee maker that uses electricity.
I buy good very coffee and make excellent coffee with the FP.
I bought one when Target had them on sale. I was on vacation and needed a small cooler to bring home left-overs from restaurants. I put several "to go" boxes in it, iced it down and the food was cold (ice was still there) several hours later in almost 100° temps.

It's a Forschner display case. It has legs that fold out so that you can stand it up on a counter... or it has hardware for wall mounting.
The place I bought my knives from asked me if I wanted it because they weren't using it.
I've got a Primo XL Oval and a Primo Oval Jr. I like both a lot and don't ever see myself getting rid of them. Customer service from Primo is great.
And the best thing is, Primo is MADE IN THE USA!!!
The others aren't.
