    *NEW* Maverick ET-732

The ET-732s won't be in the country until mid December according to Maverick. Most of the times I have ordered stock from them their estimates are overly optimistic. Hopefully not this time because if they are, people that want these for Christmas will be disappointed.

Congratulations Vincent! That's why you are one of Rock's 'Luminaries'. (I saw Ms 'Diva' had posted your win on another forum)

    Blower not recognized with extension

I use a 20' cable on my 5 cfm fan all the time with no problems. The cable is just whatever Radio Shack sells. Are you using a larger fan?

    Thermoelectric coolers. Legal for competition?

For KCBS the electric cooler/heater would be illegal in the heater mode, fine in the cooler mode.

    Maverick ET-73 whacky?

Morrey, The Guru fan and/ or the probes will not work with the Stoker unless you can get John (Stoker guy) to replace the plugs on them. All of the Stoker plugs have a micro chip in them that has a unique address for the processor to read. Also as to you Maverick issue, if you wad up aluminum...

Stoker/router in one box and power cord????

I use a weather proof box made for a outdoor mounted irrigation contoller. It already had a outlet inside it and I just bought a outdoor extension cord and cutoff the female end and hardwired it to the outlet. The box has two holes that are sized for the "Liquid Tight" conduit connectors...

    Running Stoker/Stokerlog without blower

I've used mine to check temps of meat in the oven. Right now it's setup to monitor and control the temps in my computer while gaming. (don't ask... I just like playing with it)

I Get to Find Out How Good Stoker Service Is.

Tim, don't worry about what port is what... it's the plugs for the probes (and fan) that have a chip in them to id them. Just rename the probes and you'll always know what probe is what. I plug my stuff in a different way all the time to suit what I've got going on. It doesn't matter.

    12V Stoker Power Supply

Buy a bigger fan from John (Rock's Bar-B-Que) so that you don't fry the control unit. As Jeff said, the 12V thing that is sold for the Stoker is still only sending the unit 5V.
