We looked at the Summit for years and when the price for a floor model was under 900. We became owners. Great grill smoker. Using little fuel. I would say buy it.
Chris I think that is a good idea. We used stokers for years because of it ability to graph the cooks when others did not. Now they all do and do a better job. Switched to Fireboard with our guru fans and gifted all the Stoker gear to a friend
The one Chris recommended is the real deal. We have used them for years on different BBQ including WSM. The 2.5 stem vs the 4 very little difference in temp reading. The longer stem can hit some foods
I have burn shop on my Hasty Bake which I had him make out of stainless steel so it would not rust etc. Ask if stainless is still a option. Of course it is more.
Nice photos good seeing you made it back..Sure wish this concept would catch on. It is the only one we go to because of cost and even playing field with the meat
Just curious, why do you want need the 22? I have owned all three sizes. Still only have a 14. The 18 is my favorite and one day I will probably have one again. The 18 was a great brisket cooker.
