Got the dreaded E7 error on Mother's day

That doesn't scream outstanding customer service to me. I'm sorry....as I stated in a separate post....the entire Weber brand loyalty comes into question in the pellet grill sector. What a fail on Weber's part. Why would you rush to their next overpriced pellet grill experiment??

Got the dreaded E7 error on Mother's day

Good point but it begs the question of how generic and/or available are the parts for a SmokeFire if the grill is out of warranty? Are the main components available on say Amazon? I know I wanted another probe or 2 for my Oakford and the generic ones for Pit Boss were $13 a pair and work...

Got the dreaded E7 error on Mother's day

Precisely why I wouldn't go running to a Searwood...$900 is a very steep entry cost of admission.

Some coleslaw with that bad boy...oh yeah!

    Pork shoulder weekend.

Perhaps, but can you imagine how it would taste if you cooked it according to those instructions?

A clear case of your experience powerfully better than Swift's instructions.

Everybody wants to get in on the grilling game

You can buy a big bag of frozen ones on the way out past the cash lanes.

Everybody wants to get in on the grilling game

It seemed to be aluminum... nowhere near as thick as either my Weber or Broilmaster. Looked like double walled lids, electric ignition, stainless flame tamers like I've not seen before. Cabinets were powder coated sheet steel. Thing about IKEA stuff is you never know who made it for them.

Coffee Beans what's in your grinder ???

I've had the Aldi whole bean before and it was decent but the stores near us don't carry whole bean anymore whereas the Lidl carries 2-3 different ones.

Everybody wants to get in on the grilling game

They were thin aluminum fireboxes. Stainless steel burners and PCI grates...all proprietary in appearance. Good luck finding parts in 2 years.

Everybody wants to get in on the grilling game

Saw these two at IKEA today. Poorly constructed and fairly expensive.

Coffee Beans what's in your grinder ???

Yeah, I too was completely underwhelmed by it. I believe it's the least expensive whole bean coffee they sell though. But for $2.00 more, the House Blend is far better. Just opened another bag of Peet's Major Dickasons...the most expensive at the local Costco but probably my favorite. It's...

    The Searwood has arrived!

My experience with cooking a spatchcocked turkey on the pellet grill was different. I'd do it again for sure but I wouldn't spatchcock it again. I think it cooked too fast and the legs ended up a bit overcooked...tasty but rough eating. The just "use it as a convection oven" thing again rings true.

Coffee Beans what's in your grinder ???

Yeah, but you always have to fiddle in an attempt to improve...just like grilling.

Considering Genesis Smart Grill. Some questions.

Oh...the other Ace exclusive besides the Indigo color was the motion activated LED light on the lid handle. It's actually pretty handy for grilling in the Winter. I think they sell for $35 or so.

    Precisely, Sir.

Here's the ad from Ace showing the E-325 same as mine. No SS grates but the Indigo is a cool color and the sear burner is a must. The CI grates are holding up fine.
