I'm no expert but I've had better luck assigning a static ip address to the stoker in your router and then fixing it in the stoker. I hope this helps.

I look forward to your review on it. It appears that it may require some tweaking but hopefully people will publish their settings to streamline this.

Hopefully this will help someone else. I replaced the regulator and all is well. A $17 regulator from Home Depot and I now have a fully functional stainless gas grill!

If you aren't going to use the stoker log then you will either have to unplug the fan for a few minutes or lower the target temperature for a while.

Next time try angling the knife at 45 degrees to the cutting board when you cut against the grain and try to cut thinner strips. That will go a long way at having the meat less chewy.

Wasn't there an update needed to use the new probes (pre probes with lights)? I seem to recall John had to change something in the probes that required an update.

I agree that wired is better but seeing as you need power I've done my network connection via a powerline adapter. I have the Zyxel and it works really well.

They are silicone tubing. See if you can find some surgical tubing or perhaps r/c plane fuel line tubing (silicone of course). That should do the trick.
