It's 0 outside. Put the Prime Rib on at 1:00 this afternoon. Using my Jumbo Joe with a rotisserie ring. It's now a little past 4:30 and internal temp is 87.

Ordered a real bone-in prime rib roast from a little butcher shop in Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin. I will season it as always with fresh thyme, rosemary, marjoram, garlic, Kosher salt, all mixed in with non-salted butter, which I smear all over the roast, and cook it on my Jumbo Joe til it hits 125...

I will never forget the winter in Northern Wisconsin; I took the dog out for a potty break, and as he peed on the trunk of a tree, his pee froze before hitting the ground.

Had a friend killed trying to install a garage door spring. One of the two metal bars he was using to torque the spring slipped out his hand. The other bar hit him in the head and opened up his skull. He died instantly. Nothing to try if you are not a professional.
