Joe F,I run my maverick on the lower grate and my digi Q on the top grate through the grommet. So running all the wires through the port was not really working for me.

I know what you mean Mark, I could not be happier with my mods,I think the door,latch and gaskets are a MUST on the wsm's.

Its perfect for the bottom grate in my opinion but I use a grommet for the top grate for now, prob gonna notch it as the notch is very convenient.

Same hers,I went straight out the tube and spread with tooth pick. just have to trim my excess gaskets around my door.

The hinge is prob gonna be my next mod.

picked up some chicken thighs and a rack of spares that I trimmed that hit the 18.5 wsm @ 275* using kbb and a few chunks of apple wood and threw some red potatoes on the kettle,Happy Easter everyone!!
