My wife has a killer mango chutney recipe to die for. I like it with pork and chicken.
We get our mangoes locally but I'm curious where you mainland folks get your mangoes from?

Have you tried guava wood chunks from Hawaii? You can get 10-11 lbs. for $15 which includes 3 day Priority Mail shipping cost to USA. It's not the white oak you were looking for though...

I seem to notice that the cubic inches and weights may not alway be the same for all woods, nor is the burn time.
How much does the 720 cubic inch bag weigh?
.

Hi Jeff,
What would you consider to be a good total price for 10 lbs. smoking wood chunks delivered to your door in a few days?
Thanks and Aloha!

You might like to try guava wood from Hawaii.
It has some qualities like apple but mild sweet smokey flavor, grat with chicken, pork and fish.
Try the flavor of Hawaii in you BBQ!

Found this Kalbi recipe...
I started making these when we lived in Hawaii and they are still one of my favorite things to grill. The recipe comes from "A Taste of Aloha" by the Junior...
I second the opinion of Yoshidas we use it here in Hawaii for lots of cooking.
The best Kalbi (korean short ribs) I ever had was a Guamanian Recipe....broke da mouth good!
Aloha!
