1965 Red Weber Kettle "Ranger"...you gotta see this!

Ok... a loaded summit is 1000+ along with a 200+ WSM.... that might be a bit high??? Weber could probably build a replica for less than that. I'm not trying to knock what you've got - it's sweet, but that might be unrealistic. Try putting it on ebay if you want to get top dollar, but I'd be...

    new 26.5 kettle

Yes, when?? Seeing the copper kettle behind it makes me worry - that was never available in the U.S. I'm impressed that Weber didn't just re-manufacture the old 26.75 grill, but actually addressed some of its design flaws. They added the OTG system, slide-aside and thermometer. I can't wait...

    new 26.5 kettle

Wow... that's definitely not a remake of the old 26 3/4" kettle. The grill sits much higher, which I'm guessing also makes it further across. Also, the lid is rounded similar to the 22" kettle - the old 26.75 has a noticeable flat top profile. Very cool that they put the thermometer on this...

1965 Red Weber Kettle "Ranger"...you gotta see this!

Definitely play hardball. If Weber see's that you're prepared to walk away I bet they'll dig a little deeper - the Performer offer isn't even close to what you could get for this thing. You could always throw it on ebay and let the market decide. Mike, bummer on the red 27" - it was a...

Visit to Weber Corporate Offices re: 18" & 22" WSMs

Chris, I remember seeing that "Texan" on John Ratzenberger's "Made In America" - they wheeled out a bunch of vintage kettles (seville, sequoia, gas kettle etc.). Any pictures???

Return of the 26 3/4" Kettle

Visit to Weber Corporate Offices re: 18" & 22" WSMs

Chris, was the 27 inch kettle discussed/seen? What about a 27 inch WSM?

1965 Red Weber Kettle "Ranger"...you gotta see this!

Hi Rick, You might want to consider contacting Weber to see what they might offer you for that. I know of a mint Red 26 3/4 kettle that was initially offered on Craigslist. Once the owner was aware of what he had, he contacted Weber to get further information on it. They wound up trading him...

Weber Kettle rotisserie - rod gauge??

Thanks - I guess I didn't think this through - makes sense that when you clamp/screw them down the size of the rod isn't that important.

Return of the 26 3/4" Kettle

A 26.75 Performer would be nice - particularly if it was expanded in proportion with the larger kettle - would be a nice sized table and storage area. I don't think the 26" kettle was ever a huge seller for Weber, compared to the 18/22 inch models, which led to it being discontinued. My...

Return of the 26 3/4" Kettle

If it does wind up being an OTG, wouldn't that indicate that it'd be offered in multiple colors?? The 18 and 22 inch OTG's are both offered in a limited number of colors. My guess is that it'll be a OTS offered only in black, but only time will tell.

Weber Kettle rotisserie - rod gauge??

Does anyone know the gauge of the rod on the weber kettle rotisserie? I want to order additional forks, but want to make sure they're the correct size. Thanks.

Return of the 26 3/4" Kettle

Do you know if it was a OTS or OTG??

    Old School Ranch Kettle....

I saw this on craigslist awhile back ago, it was gone by the time I saw the add (hope someone here got it), but I did save the pictures to share. Not sure what years Weber made this grill - early 70's until the late 70's or 80's??? This thing looks like new, owner wasn't sure if it had ever...

Return of the 26 3/4" Kettle

Yea, red is probably not going to happen. It would be cool if they brought back some of the vintage colors though - avocado green maybe??

Return of the 26 3/4" Kettle

Only problem with a red 27" kettle is I probably would never take it out of the box. I'd have to buy 2 if I wanted to use 1. I can't wait to see some pics of what they have in mind for this kettle, we've seen the 22 WSM - where's the 27" kettle?? Oh well, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. A...

Return of the 26 3/4" Kettle

I haven't gotten any details, but would love to hear some. It'd be nice to see a built in thermometer like the new WSM's.

Return of the 26 3/4" Kettle

It's been rumored for some time that the 26 3/4" kettle would be returning in 2009. I emailed a customer service VP at Weber who's email I had saved and they confirmed that Weber would be re-introducing the 26 inch kettle along with the introduction of the 22 inch WSM. They also said that both...

    New WSMs for 2009

I'm pretty sure I'll be getting both the 22 WSM and the 26 kettle - time to save up. I hope the come out with a rotisserie ring for the 26" kettle as well....

    New WSMs for 2009

Looks great - can't wait to get one. Have any pictures of the new 26" kettle surfaced? Wonder if it'll have a "gold" style ash catcher. Can't wait.....
