the burger ''bubble'' in the US might be about to pop. (article)

Let's just tell it like it is folks. If you Grill/Smoke at home for any length of time you become a food snob. No fast food can come close to what you can prepare. We've panted our self into a corner and what a wonderful corner it is. Fast food has it's place but not at my house. Everyone...

    Grilled Alaskan Halibut

Halibut is my favorite fish to grill however, I refuse to pay the asking price for this outstanding fish. Fortunately I have a friend who is a fisherman and at times gives me some Halibut love. Fresh White Sea Bass is also right up there with Halibut and about half the price when on sale...

    First attempt high heat ribs

Jim's 45, 30, 5, 10, High Heat Ribs have given me an alternative to Low & Slow. In 90min the ribs are done and resting. In 105min we have some of the best ribs you'll ever eat. Give Jim's method a try and let us know what you think. Good luck and good cooking. Bill

Things You'd Like Weber To Make.

Depending on the price, I think a 26" performer would or could be a high volume seller. Most who have been cooking on a 22" would love to have the extra size to work with. Not all, but most. I believe Weber is missing the boat on this one. Could it be that Weber feels if they come out with a 26"...

    26" Kettle value

I think Andy is spot on but if it were me I'd ask 225 so I had a little wiggle room to come down to no less than 200. Here in So Cal a 26 on CL (which is rare) is gone before you can pickup the phone. Good luck with your sale. Bill

StL spares on the 26 using a Char-Broil charcoal manager

Thanks for the review Bob. Always nice to see a new product in action. Lesson learned here is you don't necessarily get a bone pullback to signal ribs are done. Bill

PK Grill, anyone else here have one?

Hi Wayne, the PK is a great grill for doing hot & fast on the bottom shelf and lower and slower on the top. I find the PK a bit small so large cooks are out. You are spot on when it comes to charcoal use. This little guy is extremely stingy with it's charcoal use. I'm finding the damper settings...

    Grill grates

Your spot on Glen, making a flattop with GGs will give you that beautiful crust on those burgers that only a flattop can give. You can even do vegetables as long as their not cut to small. Philly steak comes to mind. I think I know what's for dinner tonight. Bill

    Grill grates

Hi Dennis Y, I too have a full set of GG on my S330. I think the closer proximity of the vaporizing juices to my steak gives the meat a better taste, of course this could be all in my head but the most important aspect of the GG for me is the fact I can put my steak on the GGs, go in the house...

    Hinge for 26?

Thanks to all who replied to my post. I ordered a Hinge for my 26 from Jason at Unknown BBQ and installed it Monday. The installation is straight forward and simple to do. YouTube has a good vid on the installation. After cooking on the 26 for the last three nights I'm very happy with the 26 and...

    Scored me a Performer

Nice looking Performer Ray. You're going to love cooking on that baby. As for routing the probe wires, I just run them under the lid. I've been running them that way for over a year now and haven't had any problems. Good luck and enjoy your new toy. Bill
