Wanting a Traeger is what (originally) got me addicted to Weber’s! A friend had a Traeger and smoked a butt for my wife and I. It was the first time I had ever had bbq from someplace other than a restaurant. I was amazed and hooked!! The search for a Traeger began and soon ended when I saw the...

    Bed in a box

We bought one off of amazon to replace the horrific mattress that came in our camper. Worth every penny and every extra pound! As stated above, they are heavy, but well worth it! Tim

50% off Smoke Gateway, 30% off Smoke

Brian, I have had my Maverick for probably 10 years now, and only had to replace the meat probe 1 time. (Still on the original pit temp probe) i kept telling myself “when the Maverick dies, I’m going to get a Smoke.” I can’t kill the thing.... I finally broke down and bought myself the Smoke...

    Keurig Coffee Maker For Christmas

Rust, congrats on the Kerrigan. We’ve had them for years as I’m the only one in the house that drinks coffee, and I only drink 1 cup a day. So brewing a pot wouldn’t be practical. I love mine, and I hope you love yours. Find a flavor that you like and enjoy some good coffee. I tried the...

    CCW Licensing

I have carried concealed for several years now. The more you do it, the less awkward and more natural it feels. We do and extensive amount of traveling, and for me and my family, (my wife carries as well) it works for us. As stated above, different states have different laws, and it’s the...

    Weber Skittles

Dave, I’m going in just the opposite direction and say I love the yellow! I was wanting to paint a Q yellow for tailgating at App State football games, and you just convinced me to do it. I love all 3 colors, and really like the painted stands as well. Just a thought, a Q painted in a local...

Anybody have experience with these thermometers?

Buy quality, and only buy once. My own personal opinion here, but isn’t that the reason we’re all willing to pay more for a Weber grill than a cheaper grill, that can last about 1/4 the life of a Weber? I love my Thermapen, and I love knowing that I’m going to give it to my son in 10-15 years...

    Spineless Turkey 2019

Great looking meal Phil!! It always stinks when you winterize and put the cover on the camper! Where are you guys staying in Greensboro, and have you ever tried the campground at Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury? Oh well, forecast says the rain should stop by noon, so hopefully you won’t have to...

How much time does cooking brisket at 275 save?

I realize the post is about cooking at the temp of 275°, but I’m going to suggest taking the temp on up to the “high heat” levels and cooking the brisket at temps between 325°-375°, and no water in the pan. I just did a 12 pounder last weekend using the high heat method. Heat brisket to 170°...

    2019 Elk Hunt

Russ, I lost my (latest) hunting lease last fall. Seemed like every 3-4 years I was having to learn a new piece of property and basically start from scratch. My oldest son (senior in high school at the time) had fallen in love with bass fishing, so I put down the rifles and bow, and bought a...
