    SSPs came in red,black and green, the brick red or crimson came much later.

    Go for the Roti ring like a few have said, when you need space ad the ring and second grate and voila! extra capacity, plus rotisserie to boot!

    I can't remember where I saw it but a guy put two Tri-Tips in a flat basket and spun it so why not!

    The only problem as Larry has said is the lid hanger is not present in the Performer lid vs the regular lid.
