2018-ish Genesis II E-210 NG will not get hot

Gas company (Nicor) refuses to come out and check pressure at the stub, so screw them, I've ordered a 0-10" WC gauge and I'll check it myself, including at the point where the hose attaches at the grill. HRG

2018-ish Genesis II E-210 NG will not get hot

Not yet, I'm not sure how I'd get my hands on a manometer or the correct gauge. Something to look at though, thanks.

2018-ish Genesis II E-210 NG will not get hot

OK, so I've been gone for a couple of years, but this grill still confounds me. No matter what, it takes forever to reach 350-375, has never seen 500+ like so many say it is capable of. Burners are clean, spider screens are clean. Fed off a dedicated 1/2" line tapped off the 1" main. I love the...

    Just picked up a SJG

Mac, I just went thru this, bought a new SJG, got an extra bottom and lid vent from Weber, and added them. MAN DOES THAT THING BREATH NOW! Honestly, I think I could have just added the bottom vent, and had a unit that would stay hot with the lid fully on, but with the extra lid vent there is...

    I'm goin' back to charcoal!

I've given up on my gas Go-Anywhere, and going back to Smokey Joe's. Just got my new SJG from Amazon, bought a fresh silver last week off Craigslist, plus my old SJS. Ordered a SJS bottom vent, and an extra lid vent from Weber parts. Is the best approach still to add a bottom vent to the SJ...

    Genesis NG burn-off

I've got a 5-6 year old 3-burner Genesis, and attempted a burn-off last night after cooking some chicken. The grease inside ignited, and was so hot the thermometer went past the 600F mark and was still climbing when I shut it down. Is this normal? How hot can these units get, and survive? The...

    Weber Q 100 or 200?

I believe they made a change to the "ring" that the propane tank slides thru on later model Q100's, so depending on when yours were produced, you might have to open-up the tank support ring.

    Go-Anywhere Gas blow-out

First time poster here, thanks for all the advice I've gleaned from this BB. Anyway, I've become increasingly more and more frustrated with my gas Go-Anywhere blowing out while trying to cook with it. Made no difference if I was using 1# bottles, or a 20# tank with a hose. Yesterday, with...
