    E6 with cart or not?

Is there anyway to change the mount configuration so the tripod leg is in the rear? That way the front would be flush?

    E6 with cart or not?

So let me ask this….does the front leg interfere or pose any issues when cooking, maneuvering the food on the grill? Seems like it protrudes a few inches…and the cart is flush. reason I’m asking….I do imbibe when cooking. Don’t want my drunk self tripping and sending hot coals everywere…LOL...

    E6 with cart or not?

Thanks for all the input fellas. This was exactly what I was wanting to know. I have/retired/moved to campsite and older Weber ’tripod’ kettle. Way too wobbly. Darren, Now the double Challenger cart would be sweet, but uh, no. It was pricey and huge the way it is. Perfect for one, and...

    E6 with cart or not?

Another 800.00 price point question. I understand the value of a cart on the grill. I have three performers and a large BGE in a Challenger cart (dual cabinets). Always great to have the carts/tables attached. But, I am deciding on either the E6 with just the legs or just go for the cart. I...

Who cooks better than a BBQ restaurant?

Agree with all the sentiments of ‘better at my house’. Wifey the same. No good BBQ joints. We have settled down to just going out once a week, usually Friday night after she gets home from work (usually a 2+ hour drive home) with no certain time of arrival. So it’s just easier for us to go...

    Summit E6 cooking grate options

just like to grill on different things, plus it would allow me to smoke more things at once? I have a 3k+ Weber stainless gas grill that I use to store my other grills’ accessories. Guess more toys…. I had a traegger once but gave it away. I like to manage my cooks.

    Summit E6 cooking grate options

Thanks for the replies so far…So I’m thinking the eggspander may work. No dealers in my area have both (Weber or BGE XL together-not even a Weber summit E6 last I checked. I guess the best bet would be to call Tom @ CGS and ask him about Woo ring etc.

    Summit E6 cooking grate options

I currently have 3 dedicated Weber performers (one in Vortex mode, one in SNS mode and one in rotisserie mode. Also have large BGE in challenger table. I’m looking to add a Weber Summit Kamado but have a question about possible replacement cooking grids. I LOVE the BGE eggspander 5 piece set...

Work sharp ken onion or E5-NH Kitchen Knife Sharpener

I just got the ken onion work sharp and it is amazing. Put an incredibly sharp edge on my 20 year old 5 star Henckels. Never could do it with my chef's choice.

    Weber thermometer placement.

Here's my .02 I have many grills, BGE my other main smoker. Temp is measured in dome (IMO) due to consistant temp, no hot spots. I cook mostly (until sear time) indirectly. The indirect heat level is the same as the dome as it is at the grate (from my own experience). When it comes time to...

I have managed to find three of them. I take them camping and use them to keep the bugs away (citronella oil). Plus the look great.

    Rotisserie Basket

Hey...found this basket. Looks good, but I wonder how much better veggies, wings, etc are in one? Does anyone use a basket (of any type) and what are your results? Not trying to hijack thread, but common interest in topic. https://www.napoleon.com/en/us/grills/how-use-rotisserie-tumble-basket

COWBOY BRIQUETTES break down after 1 use

Ditto on Rich Dahl statement...I save my used Weber briquets for burgers, dogs, anything that doesn't require max heat and burn time. I love my Weber charcoal (bought a pallet at the sale price).
