    Performer Yearner

You could stack them in a pyramid, but mostly I use the chimney starter and set it over the flame. If you are thinking about getting a performer...Just Do It!! it is an awesome grill and great investment.Just my opinion.

    Spares in two hours?

Robert, I have foiled them (double wrapped)indirect for 45 minutes. I then take them out of the foil add some wood chunks(hickory) then put them back on direct and sauce them. They get a great smokey flavor and a wonderful bark. I know it is not traditional but friends rave about them.

    Exchanged OTP for the Performer

Oh Andy...agree with Bob and Glen you won't be disappointed. I sometimes use the gas assist and sometimes not.It is really helpful though if you are going to use the baskets. The side table is a great asset as well as the four wheels. Let us know what you think when you get a chance to fire it up.

    Opinions on one touch platinum

You will be fine Andy. I do like that the lid slides backwards. You will not be disappointed overall, it is very sturdy. And hey!it's a Weber!! You can never go wrong with that!!!

    Opinions on one touch platinum

Andy, I have the new one, with the two thermoset side tables. I like it because it is sturdy. I dislike it because those two side tables do not hold very much. If I place my weber grill gloves on them and maybe two sets of tongs on the other side that is it. I find it difficult to place a dish...

    Fire Wire

I only used skewers,....but...you guys have convinced me I need to go buy some. Really good point Jim,...that you can place them anywhere on the grill. I was always concerned they would not be sturdy enough especially for kabobs.

I'll pass on a recipe if it calls for (blank)!! *****

Cloves,...good golly they taste like the smell of pine sol. Indian food the smell and taste doesn't leave me for 3 days. I only had it twice, that was enough. Balsamic vinegar,..ugh I just can't get past that taste, too sharp gets me right in the throat. Overall I like other vinegars though...

    Porterhouse steak

Great job Brian! Looks delicious, nice char on the steak, and the seasoning seems mouthwatering. I tried those diamond strike a fire starters only once, I hated them. I thought my neighbor was going to call the fire department, heck I got out my garden hose. No thanks, I'll stick to my weber cubes.
