Could anyone tell me what tools I'd need to break down a SS Performer . . .

My list: 7/16" open end wrenches Cordless impact with 7/16" socket Large channel lock pliers Big hammer for persuasion if necessary Large screwdriver or pry bar for an alternate method of persuasion PB Blaster for chemical persuasion Contractor trash bags (x3) -- one to dump out the inevitable...

    Blue Performer Bowl and Lid

Selling a DI code (2007) Blue Performer bowl and lid. When I picked this up last year, it was mounted in regular kettle legs and had never been cooked on. I mounted it in my SSP and used it about 1-2x per week since then. I found an Ivory Master Touch that I'm modifying to put into my SSP...

Picked up a SS Performer. Restoration to be started this weekend

If you change your mind about the whole rabbit hole thing, I'll be selling a nice blue performer bowl and lid in a few weeks. As for the stainless bin cover, I believe I bent the hinge rod out of shape to get the cover off. It felt like something I shouldn't be doing but it worked.

Rehab of a 1988 Weber Genesis Junior

With a rehab that thorough, I completely understand not cooking on it. Fantastic work and thanks for the eye candy!

SOLD Green 13-bar 1000 - parts or whole

SOLD I picked up a green 1000 today solely to scavenge the black durawood and the swing table. After a quick cleanup (and a swap to grey durawood), I found it to be in better shape than I expected. I have it listed on CL for $99 with new Amazon cooking grates. Mention TVWBB and it's yours...

The Big Adventure For A Genesis Jr

I used the motor and spit rod from my 22" kettle. The spit rod needed a little modification to match the notches with the Junior's cookbox.

The Big Adventure For A Genesis Jr

I cut down CI grates from a 1000 to fit my Junior. Instead of cutting both CI grates to make them identical to the Junior grates, I kept one whole and cut the other in half. Grate Mod

Riddle me this on this grill

I saw that one, but couldn't find the time to go get it. If you want a 13-bar box -- or anything else off of a redhead 1000, let me know.

2008 Genesis EP-320 - Best Source for hardware

I like McMaster-Carr. https://www.mcmaster.com/ Their selection is head-spinningly huge. One downside is that you can't see what the shipping cost will be before you place your order. I don't really mind that, as I wait until I have a fairly large list before ordering. Being in NJ, I get...

Blasting the box: which tool do you use?

I splurged on Carbon Off, and was not impressed. The difference between Carbon Off ($28/quart) and Member's Mark (Sam's Club $8/3 quarts) was minimal.
