    WallyWorld Briskets for $2.58/pound

I saw a post elsewhere on the board about Walmart having Select packers on sale. I found the whole briskets marked down from $3.68 to $2.58 a pound at my store and bought two 12 pounders. Both of mine are grade Choice. Thanks to Dale Nichols for pointing out the good deal. Jim

    Deflate-gate thoughts?

I believed Belichick. I sympathized with Brady. Then Bob Kraft opened his pie-hole. Now I think the NFL should cancel the game, ban everyone on the team, take away all their draft picks for 5 years, and hope the Patriots finally get the message. They've had a culture of cheating at least as...

    Cowboys win

As a Packers fan I feel cheated that Dez didn't "complete the process." After the Cowboys scored their TD following his catch, the Packers would be down by 1 or 3 points with between 2:30 & 3:30 left to play. A Rodgers comeback to win the game would be as legendary as the Ice Bowl finish...

Gas prices going down... down, down, down.

I drove from Wisconsin to North Carolina yesterday, a total of over 980 miles, and spent exactly $62.95 on 32.0 gallons of gas. I paid just $1.75 a gallon in Indiana and the most was $2.16 in NC. It's like they're giving the stuff away.
