Old neighborhood "corned beef brisket" cooking?

I found this on the USDA website that is thankfully still working. My quick read comes out to 30% over so can shrink 30%. B. Corned Beef Brisket In preparing corned beef brisket, the application of curing solution to the beef brisket shall not result in an increase in the weight of the...

    Rotisserie Crispy Skin

They look great. The key to crispy skin is high temps. When I cook chickens like you have in the pictures I always spatchcock them. they cook / grill faster, and it makes them easy to flip to get some char on the skin. I start off low with smoke and by the end I am up to around 500°. I am...

I will just leave this here

When I was in Richmond and people were close by I did offered onsite grill repair and did some delivery for leather sofa's I repaired. With the sofa's they had to come and pay for the sofa and I followed them back and just dropped off as some people just did not have Vans or PU trucks. With...

    Ninja 5-in-1 for the win

Electric for grills is a non issue these days. I would think that almost everyone has a power bank. I have two, and an inverter for my Ego batteries that I could use. Also I would say most gas grills over $600 and all pellet, gravity, etc have the need for power either for lights...

    Ninja 5-in-1 for the win

Looks really interesting. First new grill I have seen in ages that have E/W burners. Would be ideal if it had a cast aluminum firebox;-) I hope this inspires others to innovate as well.

    Automate your WSM?

People love to accessorize;-) Look at all the add-ons for almost every grill. The fact that you can pick up used WSMs cheap and add something like these for convenience and I think some more folks will be inclined to this route.

    Vagabond Life

Nice - Congratulations. My wife and I did something similar in 2014. We sold the house and moved on to a 42' Lagoon catamaran. We sold most of our stuff, took some on the boat, and put the rest into storage. A lot of work but it was what we worked all those years for. 2014 was a lot like...

    Small Coffee Maker

When we were in Puerto Rico one of the places we stayed had an electric Mokka Pot. Very easy and compact. Just add water and coffee. It was so good we bought a large stove top one when we got home. We use it almost every day.

    Chicken Noodle Soup

Looks great. Do you save all the bones and veggie scraps to make your own broth? I always cook the chicken in the soup. Much more pleasant in this weather;-)

A couple of new Charcoal Go Anywhere features

Somebody at Weber must be watching YouTube;-) This is the only Weber grill I still have for personal use, and even wrote up a thread on adding a rotisserie / riser system last summer.
