Got a pic of it? Why would the legs be starting to collapse?

    Colored Hubcaps

I actually picked these up at Ace Hardware a couple months ago. I asked the lady where I could find replacement hubcaps for grill wheels and she replied with a smirk "bright red ones?" I bashfuly said yes. The ones the had are the exact same size on the outside, but the inside clips were too...

    Colored Hubcaps

Always the tinkerer, I finally decided to retrofit some red hubcaps to match my red kettle. Have others done this?

Asked Weber a Question About Colors

I don't want to sound negative, or start a bashing session, but that's a stock "corporate mission statement" answer If I ever heard one! Basically they think that Americans could care less about color options. Either that or there just using the Weber version of Henry Ford's philosophy here...

    Am I Blue?

Perhaps its a blue heated up. Kind of like when a red turns plum purple when hot.

    Weber Family Portraits

Thats a super sweet collection, Brian! Love the Smokey Joe lights. Looks like you've got an eye for the blues like I have for redheads. If one of those redheads is a "beater" they sure don't look it from the outside. The look pretty clean. Speaking of "beater" my 22.5 just got its first large...

    Am I Blue?

I would say having seen the dark blue kettle featured in the 1979 edition of the "Barbecuing the Weber Covered Way" I would say that the current blue has its origins in the late 1970s. The blue looks identical on the metal bowl handled kettles like the modern ones. Give or take a "shade" like...

My new to me 1981 Smokey Joe

I really like the black leg color with the black bowl/lid. Are those porcelain coated legs on the older folding style? Or are they factory painted?
