Cyber Monday - Weber Summit Kamado S6

I've been thinking of getting the Summit Kamado as well. I feel like I'm cheating on my redhead SSP. Lol. But, I have a Hunsaker griddle plate for the SSP so I figured I could clean up the redhead, and put that griddle plate in it and use it as a mobile bar or prep area for cooking.

    Anyone using a rolling sharpener?

I've been seriously considering one of those. Good results?

Coffee Beans what's in your grinder ???

We've moved from OKC to SE Georgia but we still get our beans from a local place in OKC. Great coffee. https://claritycoffee.com/wholebean That's mostly for the wife for her Breville Barista Pro. I'm a bit of a philistine with coffee and I stick to my Community Coffee. Love NOLA and got a...

A new Weber pellet grill - The Searwood

I get the feeling this is just the pellet smoker they would have put out if they didn't rush the SmokeFire to market. It is just rebranded with a new name to lose all the stigma and bad reviews. lol. They all stay with the Smokefire models.

    Wireless Sound System for TV

This is another reason I stick to Polk Audio for my sound especially with the soundbars. They are creating equipment that must work with all brands of televisions and players. LG also makes televisions and players so it's not beyond the realm to at the very least make it work flawlessly with...

    Wireless Sound System for TV

I haven't looked at it in a bit, but there are sound settings in the Roku menu and I'm pretty sure there is a setting about which audio it outputs. You might check that.

    Technivorm Moccamaster Coffee Machine

Yeah, it's not that it makes a difference in the brew or the taste.... it's chemistry, yo. lol "In reverse osmosis water and distilled water, all minerals are removed, and the water’s PH becomes slightly acidic. The water will leach minerals out of the copper boiling element to return to a...

    Wireless Sound System for TV

The Magnifi Max system has 2 rear surround speakers that are wireless.

    Wireless Sound System for TV

So, my opinion is you need to check out the Polk Audio line and especially the Magnifi Max System. They have one version with the bar and sub and another version with the 2 wireless satellite surrounds, but you can get the surrounds later if you start with just the bar and sub and decide you...

    Technivorm Moccamaster Coffee Machine

I haven't read through the whole thread so forgive me if this has already been addressed, but in just getting acquainted with the Moccamaster line I noticed they said to not use RO water since it will increase the corrosion on the copper heating element. Just wondered if you were aware that...

    Technivorm Moccamaster Coffee Machine

I'm showing up late to the party.... Wife and I rented an Airbnb in Beech Mountain NC for the Thanksgiving weekend since it allowed our adult kids to join us for the weekend since it's closer to them than where we live in SE Georgia. The rental cabin had a Technivorm Moccamaster machine in...

I saw Weber came out with a griddle. Anyone planning on purchasing?

So, I seasoned it this afternoon and I had fajita chicken ready for tonight so I decided to do it on the griddle. Now, I'm Mr. Charcoal and I am not going to start grilling chicken on the griddle instead of my performer. But, damn if this griddle isn't fun to cook on. Started with onions...

I saw Weber came out with a griddle. Anyone planning on purchasing?

I have an entire Lodge cast iron collection to use on all my grills. But, go ahead and try smashing 6 burger patties, grilling onions, and toasting all the buns at the same time. Lol. I have a small single burner griddle that we got with our camper. I've been using it as an interim to see how...

When the wife asks "why do you have so many grills?"

I like grilling it but my wife likes to cook it inside. Gotta pick my battles. Lol

When the wife asks "why do you have so many grills?"

Tonight was a 3 grill night for dinner. Steaks on the Performer over charcoal... Baked potatoes on the Q1200... Squash and zucchini on the flattop... Asparagus on the charcoal while the steaks rest... Wife made a salad and corn on the cob....

    My Favorite Commercial BBQ Sauce(s)

This is my only correct answer. Now that I have moved from OKC to Georgia I will have to have it shipped once my smuggled stash is gone. https://headcountry.com/products/sauces/

    Spark Grills - Already gone...

Concept seemed pretty cool, but my very first qualm was that proprietary charcoal puck/slab. Wasn't standard enough or from a long standing company to make me feel comfortable about it. Sad to see it go, though.
