    How much Lit Charcoal for Minion Start? (4 pork shoulders)

    Brandon, I cook 4 butts quite a bit in my 22.5 wsm. I use a full water pan and start with about 20 k blue lit. I never have an issue get up to 250. Let me know how your cook goes with the 1/2 a chimney.

    Charcoal??

    Paul, for my wsm I only use the K blue now. I've tried others but I know what I'm getting with the K. I also use for all our competitions as well. Now on my offset I do use RO Lump.

    No Bark. What's Up????

    22.5 WSM bottom rack 2 beer can roaster chickens top rack 2 meaty slabs of st. louis ribs dry pan 275. 2 hour later Wet Bark. Pouring Rain 70 in Cleveland Ohio. WSM protected under tent Why no bark? Steam from chicken? Weather?
