    Losing interface

I just ran out to staples to grab another card. Will see if that helps. I figure there might be a write issue with old card. Hopefully that is all.

    Losing interface

I am having issues with the interface. I manage to get the device to boot and get into the configuration page but after a short time, I lose the web page and the following error pops up: /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:211: /etc/config/luci seems to be corrupt, unable to find section 'main'...

WIFI won't always start or dies during use

Not sure what is going on. When I start my 4.0 HeaterMeter using model B rpi, the wifi adapter does not start all the time. Sometimes it takes me 10 tries to get ti to start up. Once it is running, it will run for a few hours then I lose the wifi connection. The main page will hang and if I...

http://saltydogbbq.no-ip.biz:9080/ Cooking Brisket on Gator Pit offset. Of course, once I got everything set up, powered on the Heatmeter (4.0 version), the blower wouldn't turn on. Meat was prepped and fire was going so no turning back. Had to remove blower unit and reattach damper. Using...

    Remote Access Issues

I decided to shut down/restart everything, reestablish internet connection, rescan external ip using no-ip tool, then test port access with port tester and got through. entered my remote address on phone browser and pitdroid app and received heatmeter data. Thanks for everyone's help...

    Remote Access Issues

Doesn't look good for upgrades. Came across this: Sadly, the EA2700 does not have the capability of being upgraded to open source firmware like DD-WRT, Tomato, or OpenWRT due to the Marvell chipset. Of course I am using the EA2700 as my router. This was written about 9 months ago so maybe...

    Remote Access Issues

yep. I will dig deeper into the linksys support/forums/manual when I get a chance. I don't want to flash new firmware at the moment. Preparing for dinner party tomorrow and will be smoking about 20lbs pork butt and don't want to risk having local network issues.

    Remote Access Issues

Inside my LAN is no issue. I can use Pitdroid and browser no problem. I have wifi disabled on phone so I can test remote connection. Nat loopback is not disabled.

    Remote Access Issues

I originally set the static IP via the config page on the heatmeter. After I read your post I went to the router and did a MAC-based DHCP to assign it the ip address as you suggested. The port forward table is straight forward I assigned 9080 to the external port field, 80 to the internal field...

    Remote Access Issues

Having issues setting up remote access to heatmeter. I followed instructions I found on various posts but no joy. I have a cable modem with linksys wireless router connected to it. I set up a DDNS with no-ip. I set up port forwarding on the router, port 9080 external to 80 internal to the...
