    Yeah I put it there for a place to put my meat thermometer probe for the wire to come out. It worked great on my first run

    I did a trial run with it on saturday afternoon to get it seasoned. then I did a small chicken on it sunday afternoon and it turned out well! i'll get a few more pictures posted up! this weekend I aim to try a pork loin!
