    Spirit E-210 LP (2009) restoration

I was going to get third-party Flavorizer Bars, but I found new Weber ones on there for a great price.

Meh. Totally kidding; it looks great. Nice work.

    Spirit E-210 LP (2009) restoration

Swapped the frame, Stainless steel table cover (has all markings in tact and the Spirit logo), and drip pan and drip pan holder to mine yesterday. Spent several hours disassembling both grills and reassembling. Sold the donor grill today for $100, so got the parts I needed and made an extra $50...

    Spirit E-210 LP (2009) restoration

I just got back from picking up another 2009-era E-210. This one has a much better frame, so I'll be swapping it out today on my personal grill. I'll then clean the donor grill up and will flip it. This one was only $50 and came with a tank. It needs some cleanup, and I'll see how the...

Weber Summit grill for $100--convert to LP possible/worth it?

All good info! I'm more focused on getting a second E-210 so I can source the frame from it to use on mine (and likely sell the donor afterward).

Weber Summit grill for $100--convert to LP possible/worth it?

Copy that; thanks. I'm plenty happy with the Spirit E-210 I restored, hence why I'm not in the market.

Weber Summit grill for $100--convert to LP possible/worth it?

I just stumbled across this for $100. Would this be a worthy investment of time and money to turn into an LP grill? Is it possible with this one? I'm not in the market; I'm just curious.

    Saturday Night Meater

Tonight I put the Webuh' to use for dinner. Made some burgers (mine was topped with peppered bacon, jack cheese, and BBQ sauce), grilled corn, and a couple of hot dogs. Some reduced sodium potatoe chips hung out on the plates as well.

That feeling when you know what is about to happen next will be amazing....

I just stumbled across this post. Have there been any updates to the grills?

    Spirit E-210 LP (2009) restoration

Thanks to both. I think $75 is the highest I'd go as well.

    Spirit E-210 LP (2009) restoration

I found a local person with my same grill. They're asking $200 but said they'd take $125. I explained that I'm only looking to buy it for the frame, and that I understood if my offer of $50 was too low for them. I told them to reach out if they still haven't sold it after a while...

    Spirit E-210 LP (2009) restoration

Thanks for the kind words on the work I did. I'm pleased with it and am excited about using it! Are there any specific models that I should look for on the used market to source a replacement frame? I assume the same era Spirit E-310 would work (I've not yet looked at its dimensions).

    Spirit E-210 LP (2009) restoration

After disassembling the entire thing, cleaning the hell out of it, and replacing most of the components (i.e., cook box, burner assembly, manifold assembly, regulator, igniter, Flavorizer Bars, warming rack, and grates), it's back from the dead. Bring on all of the meats.
