    My Dutch build Mini WSM

Hi John, Sorry for the late reply. I hope you're already done with your mini WSM. I used a jigsaw (decoupeerzaag) with a steenless steel saw (RVS zaagje) in it. Then I sanded the edges with a band file (bandvijl). I think it is around 2 mm thick, but I'm not sure.

    My Dutch build Mini WSM

Upgraded my mini again. Added a stainless steel water pan instead of a terra cotta pan. Now it's a lot easier to keep the mini stable on low temperatures. I fill the pan with boiling water.

    My Dutch build Mini WSM

I've upgraded my mini with the new model Smokey Joe with air vents on the sides. The ash did kill the air flow of the old model at long cooks. Guess the new model solves this problem.

    My Dutch build Mini WSM

After a few months of trying and testing I can conclude that the mini WSM works like it should work. Low fuel usage, extinguishes when closing air vent (airtight build) and perfectly smoked food.

    Hello from the Netherlands

    I have a lot more Weber Q's on my wish list, but they are very expensive here in the Netherlands. Smokey Joe - $90 (€80) Smokey Mountain 18.5" / 22" - $510 (€450) / $680 (€600) Original Kettle Premium 22" (OTP) - $260 (€230) Still saving money for my future Weber's. ;)

The pot I've used (stainless steel): http://www.hobbybrouwshop.nl/brouwpan33liter Price (incl. shipping): €56,50/$63,65 The lid of the Smokey Joe fits even better on the pot than on the Smokey Joe itself. :D
