I have a 6 pound Foster Farms "Fresh and Natural" young turkey breast that I would like to brine. I can't tell from the packaging if it has been treated or injected with salt which would effect the amount of salt I put in the brine. Anyone have any experience with these birds?

Finishing up right now on a beef plate rib cook and the RO Premium seems to burning quicker then KB. Not a scientific study just my initial observations. Edit: After further review, I was wrong. The RO burned about the same as KB so forget what I wrote. :)

I have experienced the same thing going from a Weber briquette kettle to the LP. It get's HOT and I have burned some food. That being said, the convenience of firing up the grill and ease of clean up has made it well worth the money. I'm starting to get the hang of it and really really like it.

If you had to disassemble for transporting it back to Costco I understand but if you have a truck, I would return it assembled. I saw two at the South Hill Puyallup Costco a couple days ago if you don't have any local. Me personally, the issues your having would bug me and I would return it.

Your also getting the SS 7mm grates which is an upgrade on other 300 models. I bought the 345 over Memorial Day and have used it a handful of times already and really like it. The lifetime Costco return policy makes it worth the purchase alone in my opinion.

My experience with Weber has been when they send you a replacement part, they let you keep the old/damaged one. If so the rusted one can easily be sanded and repainted and you will have a brand new box to do with what you want. How long is the back order?
