    There is definitely a new Weber code key were are not aware of. I have run into another VG model Q2200. VG is also showing on the Weber.com schematic/manual download page at https://www.weber.com/US/en/help/manuals/. Note the VG in the dropdown box.

    Yeah, I figured that would be the case but as for VW and Vg, who knows right. Based on GIVEJOYNUW, they would be 2030 and 2031. I hope we are not there already cause I have lost a heap of my life....

    Thank you Chris. The specific model I am talking is a Q3200. I have seen plenty with S/N's beginning with VW which appear to have a manufacturing date up to 09/20. The VG ones seem to have manufacturing date from 10/20 - neither of which make sense based on GIVEJOYNUW. Will keep trying...

    Weber Q Serial Numbers

    Apart from the two alphabetic characters to determine age, is there a structure around the numeric characters for Weber Q serial numbers or are these just randomly generated. For example, do the first two number represent something, then the next two something else etc etc.
